Laboratories are a seed ground where students get to explore, question, invent and deduce findings. All the labs are fully equipped and can accommodate a batch of 20-25 students at a time. Besides qualified teaching faculty, the labs are also managed by lab assistants who help students to perform the experiments .
We have three fully operational Computer labs – two labs used by Higher secondary and High school students in the Main block and one lab in the Primary block used by the children of the Primary classes.
The library is an important component of the education process. We have a library that has a collection of 5000 odd books on a wide range of subjects. In addition to this, we provide a number of weekly and fortnightly magazines for teachers and students. All the students have access to the library which is of use to them as they learn to appreciate good literature, besides making use of the reference section for project work and assignments.
The Primary Block has a library which caters to the needs of the children of the lower classes.
The children of the primary classes enjoy the privilege of a well structured play area that houses a number of new equipments which help them indulge in spontaneous and enjoyable activities. The whole area has been covered with a roof to protect them from heat and rain.
A Math Lab equipped with material which would enable students to improve the conceptual understanding of Math, kindles their interest in the learning process.
Almost all classrooms are equipped with interactive devices like smart boards that provide age appropriate learning content based on the interest and talents of the students.
The School atrium which is located in the centre of the Main Block is very attractive and a great advantage as we host all our in house programmes including the morning assembly and celebrations here.
The auditorium named Vivekanandar Arangam was inaugurated on 31.07.2015. It has a capacity to accommodate an audience of 400 to 500 people.
The meticulously landscaped campus cradles facilities for sports activities. We have well designed courts for football, badminton and handball where students are trained and encouraged for Zonal and District Level matches.
We also have a games room where indoor games like Chess and Carrom board are practised.
Flexibility of body and mental peace are some of the key benefits of regular yoga. We have a spacious yoga hall. The yoga teacher who trains the students of Stds VI to XII during the yoga period which is conducted twice a week for each class.
The activity rooms are designed to support co-curricular programmes . At the kindergarten and Primary levels children are full of energy and would like to explore and invent in a stress free environment. The activity rooms provide ample scope and material for children to handle things independently under the supervision of the teachers.
